A man is suing a bar after he was allegedly attacked by a person with a broken bottle.
Maricel Guisti filed a lawsuit Oct. 18 in Cook County Circuit Court against Lucky's Tap Inc. and unidentified assailant, citing negligence, dram shop and battery.
According to the complaint, on Nov. 13, 2012, Giusti was at Lucky's Tap, 4046 S. Archer Ave. in Chicago, when he was attacked with a broken bottle by an unidentified assailant. The complaint alleges, among other claims, that Lucky's Tap failed to protect Guisti and failed to remove the unidentified assailant after he became violent.
Guisti is seeking damages in excess of $50,000. He is being represented in the case by attorneys at Rittenberg, Buffen, Gulbrandsen, Robinson & Saks Ltd.
