Kenneth Solava filed suit in the Cook County Circuit Court on Oct. 18 against The Venture - Newberg, Perini, Stone and Webster and Exelon Corp. over personal injuries he allegedly sustained while working on a construction site.
According to Solava, he was working at a Dresden Generating Station, at 6500 N. Dresden Road in the city of Morris, when he was injured.
Solava, an employee of WeldTech Services Inc., claims the defendants placed large bottles of argon gas which needed to be moved for him to perform his job. Solava allegedly was moving the bottles when he fell and was injured.
Solava claims the defendants failed to provide a safe work environment and should be liable for his injuries and the associated costs.
Solava is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages. He is being represented by Chicago attorney Mark C. Murnane of O'Connor and Nakos Ltd.
