Dog bites child in Wilmette, parent sues dog's owner

A minor and her father are suing the owners of a dog that allegedly bit the girl.

James Yuan filed the suit individually and on behalf of his daughter Oct. 22 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Roy Endsley.

Yuan claims his daughter was playing in his yard at 630 Pine St. in Wilmette, when Endsley's dog bit her. Yuan alleges the attack was sudden, unexpected and unprovoked.

He claims his daughter suffered serious injuries and damages from the incident.

Yuan is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. He is being represented by Chicago attorney Theodore C. Jennings.
