A man is suing Chicago's transit authority over injuries he allegedly sustained in a vehicle crash.
Frederick Daniels filed a lawsuit Oct. 28 in the Circuit Court of Cook County against the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) and Demauriel Morgan, individually and as an agent of the CTA, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, on Nov. 6, 2012, Daniels sustained serious injuries when he was involved in a motor vehicle crash with Morgan, who was operating a vehicle owned by the CTA, near the intersection of 111th Street and Cottage Grove in Chicago.
Daniels claims Morgan made an improper left turn and collided with his vehicle.
He is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 and is represented by Sturgis E. Chadwick III of Chadwick & Lakerdas.
