A Cook County resident has sued a man he claims battered and assaulted him in Bensenville.
Bajram Kacar filed a lawsuit Nov. 4 in Cook County Circuit Court against Djoka Trusnik, citing battery, assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
Kacar claims he was attacked on July 14, 2012 by Trusnik at Wentworth Tire Shop at 300 N. York Road in Bensenville.
According to the suit, Trusnik approached Kacar, called him derogatory names, punched him several times and pursued him when he tried to escape.
The suit states that employees at the tire shop assisted Kacar, who was taken by ambulance to Alexian Brothers Medical Center.
Kacar is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. He is represented by Anthony J. Peraica of Anthony J. Peraica & Associates Ltd in Chicago.
