A woman is suing over claims that she fell while working at a department store.
Bridget Cundari filed a lawsuit Nov. 5 in the Circuit Court of Cook County against Eurest Services Inc., citing negligence and premise liability.
Cundari alleges that on May 2, 2012, she sustained serious injuries when she fell inside the Kohl's store where she was working at 303 S. Route 83 in Elmhurst.
According to the complaint, the defendant company was cleaning the store and left an unnaturally slippery substance on the floor from a carpet cleaner.
The plaintiff is seeking damages in excess of $50,000. She is represented by Richard L. Pullano and Mathew T. Siporin of the Law Offices of Richard L. Pullano PC.
