Kimberly Baransky filed a lawsuit over a slip and fall incident Nov. 13 in the Cook County Circuit Court against John B. Inc., doing business as John Barleycorn Memorial Pub, Barleycorn River North Management Co. Inc. and Festa Parties Inc.
According to her complaint, Baransky was at the John Barleycorn bar at 3524 N. Clark St. in Chicago on Dec. 10, 2011. She claims she was injured when she slipped on spilled drinks and other debris on the floor while walking near the booths in the VIP area.
She accuses the defendants of negligently maintaining the dance floor so it was safe for customers.
Baransky is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented by Chicago attorney James H. Lawlor.
