A man is suing over claims his inner ear was lacerated during a procedure.

Arthur Lange filed a lawsuit Nov. 13 in Cook County Circuit Court against Richard J. Patush and Associated Hearing Aids of Illinois, doing business as Miracle-Ear Centers, citing negligence.

According to the complaint, Lange sustained lacerations to his inner ear on Aug. 15, 2012 while at Miracle-Ear Centers at 4950 N. Cumberland Ave., in Norridge.

The plaintiff contends Patush attempted to inspect, clean and remove ear wax from his ear and negligently injured his ear.

Lange is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 and is represented in the case by attorney Bradley T. Cheskes.
