A woman is suing McDonald's after she fell in the parking lot.
Tanya Egler filed a lawsuit Nov. 18 in the Cook County Circuit Court against the McDonald's Corporation and McDonald's Restaurants of Illinois Inc., citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Egler was at the McDonald's at 2030 Naperville Road in Wheaton on Dec. 23, 2011, when she slipped on ice in the parking lot and sustained injuries.
She alleges the defendants failed to maintain the parking lot and keep it free of unnatural accumulation of ice.
Egler is seeking damages in excess of $30,000 is being represented by attorney Stephen Burriesci.
