Frank Lobianco filed suit Oct. 28 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Exelon Corp. over injuries allegedly sustained while working on a construction project.
According to the complaint, Lobianco was employed by Zion Solutions while the company was performing maintenance on Zion Nuclear Power Plant in January 2012 at the direction of the general contractor, Exelon.
Lobianco claims his job required him to remove and replace water pumps and shafts. He alleges that the proper equipment could not be used for the job so he had to use a ladder to reach some of the pumps or shafts.
In his suit, Lobianco claims the ladder could not be properly set and as a resul,t he was injured. He alleges Exelon failed to provide a safe work environment and now seeks to hold it liable.
Lobianco is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. He is being represented by Chicago attorney David C. Wise.
