A woman is suing after she fell off her bicycle because of holes in the sidewalk.
Zelda Robinson-Hogues filed a lawsuit Nov. 21 in Cook County Circuit Court against MPA Onterie Center LLC and the City of Chicago, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Robinson-Hogues sustained serious injury on Jan. 25 when she fell off her bicycle due to holes in the sidewalk near 446 E. Ontario St. in Chicago.
She claims the defendants failed to repair the holes, negligently repaired the holes and failed to warn about the hazardous condition of the sidewalk.
Robinson-Hogues is seeking damages in excess of $30,000. She is being represented in the case by Michael F. Conway of Conway Law Office PC.
