Scales

A man is suing after he fell down an unlit staircase.

Robert Musselman filed a lawsuit Nov. 25 in the Cook County Circuit Court against J Bradley Webb, Kathleen Webb, Packey Webb Ford LP, Packey Webb Ford LP, doing business as Packey Webb Auto Center, Salvino (last name unknown), individually and as agent of Packey Webb Ford LP and/or Packey Webb Ford LP, doing business as Packey Webb Auto Center, citing negligence.

According to the plaintiff, on Dec. 1, 2011, Musselman was lawfully on the defendant's property at 2S645 Arboretum Road in Glen Ellyn, when he fell down the stairs. The defendants negligently failed to maintain the light at the top of the stairs, causing the stairway to be dark, according to the complaint.

Musselman is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. He is being represented in the case by Maurice E. Dusky PC.
