Daryl Morse filed suit Oct. 29 in the Cook County Circuit Court against First Midwest Bancorp Inc., First Midwest Bank and Werner Landscaping Lawncare Inc. over an alleged slip and fall incident.

According to the suit, Morse was at the First Midwest Bank at 200 W. Corning Ave. in Peotone in January 2012, when he fell and was injured in the parking lot behind the bank.

Morse claims the parking lot was not adequately plowed and ice and snow had accumulated to create a dangerous condition. Morse asserts he suffered serious injuries when he slipped and fell.

He is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. He is being represented by Chicago attorney Kevin B. Apter.
