Homero Rodriguez filed suit Nov. 4 in the Cook County Circuit Court against El Plan Inc. over injuries he allegedly sustained at a bar.
According to the suit, Rodriguez was at El Plan Bar at 2532 W. 51 St. in Chicago in March, when he was injured after falling down a hidden hatch in the floor leading to the basement while standing by the pool tables.
Rodriguez claims the hidden hatch was a dangerous condition and is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. He is being represented by Chicago attorney Cannon D. Lambert Sr.
