A Chicago baseball team is suing a transportation service provider for breach of contract.
Chicago White Sox Ltd. filed suit Nov. 27 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Bevali LLC, formerly known as Bekins Van Lines LLC.
According to the complaint, Bevali entered into a sponsorship agreement with the White Sox in March 2011 that required it to pay between $30,000 and $40,000 starting in 2011 and ending in 2015.
The White Sox claim Bevali breached the contract and failed to pay the full amount in 2012.
Represented by Markoff Law LLC, the plaintiff is seeking to enforce the full contract under which it asserts Bevali owes it an unpaid balance of $57,500.
