CTA named in personal injury lawsuit

Scales1

Tereatha Price is suing the Chicago Transit Authority over injuries she allegedly sustained exiting a train on Feb. 6.

Price filed her lawsuit on Dec. 3 in the Cook County Circuit Court and is seeking more than $50,000 for her alleged injuries.

Price claims that when the CTA train stopped at 87th Street, she tried to exit, but there was a dangerously large gap between the train and the platform. She apparently sustained injuries when she had to over extend in an effort to reach the platform.

She is being represented in the case by attorney Cannon D. Lambert Sr.
