Alleged asbestos exposure leads to lawsuit

Scales

Rocky Saadeh, as special administrator of the Estate of Hosni Saadeh, filed an asbestos complaint Nov. 18 in the Cook County Circuit Court against more than 30 defendants.

The suit alleges Hosni Saadeh died from lung cancer after being exposed to asbestos while employed in various capacities, including as a machinist and maintenance mechanic, from 1964 to 1985.

The plaintiff claims Hosni Saadeh died from lung cancer in March 2012 as a result of inhaling, ingesting and absorbing asbestos fibers emanating from products sold or manufactured by the defendants named in the lawsuit.

Rocky Saadeh is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented by Chicago attorney Timothy G. Martin.
