The Cheesecake Factory sued for alleged negligence

A woman is suing a restaurant over a slip and fall incident.

Mingo Tabrizi filed a lawsuit Oct. 31 in the Cook County Circuit Court against The Cheesecake Factory Restaurants Inc., doing business as The Cheesecake Factory, citing negligence.

The complaint states that on Sept. 2, 2012, Tabrizi was at the Cheesecake Factory, 875 N. Michigan Ave. in Chicago. She says that while she was walking to the women's restroom, she slipped and fell due to a substance on the floor, causing her severe injuries.

Tabrizi is seeking damages in excess of $50,000. She is being represented in the case by attorney Mark L. Karno.
