A construction worker is suing after he was injured while working at a construction site.
William M. Lepretre filed a lawsuit Dec. 9 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Lend Lease Construction Inc., Adjustable Forms Inc. and Hok Group Inc., citing negligence.
Lepretre says on Feb. 15, 2012, he was employed by Bond Steel and was working at the defendant's construction site at 515 N. Clark St., Chicago. The plaintiff claims he was working at the site and attempting to install rebar when he slipped, sustaining injuries.
He contends the defendant's negligence was a direct and proximate cause of the incident.
Lepretre is seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional minimum. He is being represented in the case by attorney Steven A. Berman of Anesi, Ozmon, Rodin, Novak & Kohen Ltd.
