Jonathan Evans is suing a strip club over allegations a bouncer hurt him.
According to the complaint, which was filed on Oct. 29 in the Cook County Circuit Court, Evans was at Red Diamond at 2829 W. 167th St. in Markham in February.
He claims a bouncer attempted to remove him from the premises after he mistakenly thought Evans was in an altercation with his girlfriend. Evans alleges that the bouncer manhandled and bruised Evans and then caused him to be arrested by Markham police.
Evans is suing Red Diamond for negligently hiring and failing to adequately train the bouncer. He is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented by attorney Jeffrey S. Deutschman.
