A woman is suing over a fall she allegedly took in front of The Chicago Theatre.

Patricia Mroz filed a lawsuit Dec. 6 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp., Chicago Theatre, The League of Chicago Theatres Foundation and Chicago Theatre Entertainment Inc., citing negligence.

According to the complaint, Mroz was lawfully on the defendants' property at 175 N. State St. in Chicago on Dec. 10, 2011, when she fell while walking in front of the premises.

She claims she fell because the defendants failed to remove hazardous tile that covered the curb.

Mroz is seeking damages above $50,000, plus costs and is being represented in the case by Foley & Majeske.
