Target faces lawsuit after customer slips

A woman is suing after she slipped and fell in the aisle of a Target store.

Linda Henderson filed a lawsuit Nov. 8 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Target Corp., citing negligence.

According to the complaint, Henderson sustained serious injury on Dec. 17, 2006, when she fell while at the Target store at 17605 S. Halsted St. in Homewood. The plaintiff states a foreign substance was on the floor in an aisle, creating a slip hazard.

Henderson is seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional minimum. She is being represented in the case by Santilli Law Group.
