A man is suing his doctors for alleged negligent care.
Majd Mahfoudi filed a lawsuit Dec. 6 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Dr. Jeffrey J. Betman, Podiatric Physician and Surgeon P.C. and Dr. Michael Williams, citing medical negligence.
According to the complaint, the defendants treated, operated and provided podiatric care to Mahfoudi from May 4, 2012 to Feb. 12, 2013. He claims after surgery on May 4, 2012, he contracted an infection and the defendants did not properly evaluate the infection.
He is seeking a judgement in excess of $50,000. He is being represented in the case by attorney Jerome A. Vinkler of Vinkler Law Offices Ltd.
