An insurance company is suing, seeking reimbursement for money it paid after a man allegedly caused a fire.
State Farm Fire and Casualty Co., as subrogee of Verona Wynter, filed a lawsuit Dec. 6 in the Circuit Court of Cook County against Travis Connor.
State Farm claims it should be reimbursed by Connor for money it paid to Wynter after he started a fire at her insured property.
State Farm alleges it paid $251,159.11 for the damages incurred to Wynter's property and is seeking $252,159.11 in damages, plus costs.
