Riccordino Asset Management sued by tenant due to mold

A tenant is suing over allegations she was exposed to mold in her apartment.

Bernadine Williams filed a lawsuit Dec. 10 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Riccordino Asset Management, doing business as Riccordino Realty, citing premises liability.

The complaint states the defendant owned and managed the apartment Williams lived in starting on Jan. 1, 2012 at 1109 W. 90th St. in Chicago. While living there, she claims she was exposed to mold and mold spores, causing injures affecting her health.

Williams is seeking a judgment in excess of $50,000. She is being represented in the case by attorney Charles R. Culbertson of Rubin, Machado & Rosenblum Ltd.
