Tishman Construction sued after a man falls from scaffolding

A construction worker and his wife are suing after he fell from scaffolding.

John Fallon and Sandee Fallon filed a lawsuit Oct. 21 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Tishman Construction Corp. of Illinois, Tishman Construction Corp., Louis Jones Enterprises Inc., Chicago Board of Education, Granite Industries Inc., Perry Manufacturing Inc. Nu-Wave Manufacturing LLC and General Ceilings of Illinois Inc.

The complaint states on Oct. 21, 2010, Tishman Construction was engaged in construction work at the Richard T. Crane Technical Preparatory High School in Chicago. In the course of the construction project, John Fallon fell from a scaffold, landed on a classroom floor and sustained severe injuries, according to the complaint.

The plaintiffs are seeking more than $50,000 in damages, including damages for loss of consortium. They are being represented in the case by Brustin and Lundblad Ltd.
