Dollar Tree store sued for premises liability

A woman is suing over claims she slipped and fell at a local Dollar Tree store.

Floydett Elmore filed a lawsuit Dec. 11 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Dollar Tree Stores Inc., citing premises liability.

Elmore claims she was shopping at the Dollar Tree store at 12964 Ashland Ave. in Blue Island on Feb. 9, 2012, when she slipped and fell over to boxes in an aisle, causing injures.

She is seeking damages in excess of $30,000 and is being represented in the case by attorneys at Larry L. Fleischer & Associates Ltd.
