Laugh Factory sues sign company for breach of contract

Laughfactory

Laugh Factory Chicago LLC filed a breach of contract suit in July in the Cook County Circuit Court against San Pedro Sign Co. and Best Neon Sign Co.

Laugh Factory claims it wanted to have a large electric sign made for its location at 3175 N. Broadway in Chicago and that San Pedro agreed to do the work for $209,250.

According to the complaint, San Pedro missed its deadline, failed to obtain necessary permits and was not properly bonded. Laugh Factory claims it did not get its sign within the designated time and now seeks more than $50,000 in damages.

Laugh Factory is being represented by attorney David G. Trout.
