A Healthcare facility is suing in an attempt to obtain payment for services provided to a resident.

Glencrest Healthcare & Rehabilitation Centre Inc. filed a lawsuit Dec. 12 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Cassandra Allmon Chess and Lionel Jones.

According to the complaint, on Aug. 18, 2012, Glencrest admitted Chess into its facility to provide services and supplies in exchange for payments. The complaint states that on Oct. 4, the defendant owed an outstanding balance of $264,053.08 and despite repeated demands the defendants have refused to make a full payment.

Glencrest is seeking a judgment for damages in the amount of $264,053.08, plus other costs related to the lawsuit. Glencrest is being represented in the case by attorney Sheri L. Brown of Meyers & Flowers LLC.
