A man is suing over claims he was seriously injured while working.

Ausif S. Mohiuddin filed a lawsuit Nov. 12 in the Circuit Court of Cook County against G.A. Johnson & Son, Floyd Steel Erectors Inc. and Casto Illinois Realty Services LLC, individually and doing business as Casto Lifestyle Properties, citing negligence.

According to the complaint, Mohiuddin sustained serious injuries on June 6, 2011, when he was working for Regal Steel Erectors LLC at a worksite at Randhurst Village Shopping Center in Mount Prospect.

He claims he was installing an angle iron, which fell as it was being lifted for installation due to the defendants' negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional minimum and is being represented by Marc A. Taxman of Anesi, Ozmon, Rodin, Novak & Kohen Ltd.
