Terry Willis, individually and as the independent administrator of the estate of Jennie M. Simmons, filed suit Nov. 13 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Dr. Akhtar Parvaiz and Chicago Cardiovascular Consultants S.C.
According to the complaint, Simmons complained of foot pain to Dr. Parvaiz on Nov. 3, 2011 at Chicago Cardiovascular Consultants at 2315 E. 93rd St. in Chicago.

Willis is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented by Chicago attorney Charles A. Hornewer.
