A mother is suing after her child was allegedly injured in a fall.
Tetora Smith, as the mother of Marion McNulty, filed a lawsuit Dec. 16 in Cook County Circuit Court against Milan Equity Investments LLC, citing premises liability.
According to the complaint, the defendant owned, operated and managed a building at 214 W. 104th St. in Chicago and rented rooms to the general public, including Smith and her child.
Smith claims McNulty was walking upon the premises' back porch on Oct. 28 when he fell due to hazardous conditions, causing injuries.
She is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 and is being represented in the case by attorney Joseph Younes.
