A woman is suing after she slipped and fell in a laundry room.
Betty Mohr filed a lawsuit Jan. 16 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Metropolitan Properties of America Inc., MPA Onterie Center LLC and Village Green Management Co., citing negligence.
The complaint states on March 18, 2012, Mohr sustained injuries when she slipped and fell on a laundry room floor at 441 E. Erie St. in Chicago. She claims the defendants improperly managed the premises, failed to inspect the laundry room floor, failed to warn of the dangerous condition, negligently mopped the floor that left it slippery and failed to place warning signs.
Mohr is seeking damages in excess of jurisdictional minimum and is being represented in the case by attorneys Sean P. Murray and Melanie J. VanOverloop of Anesi, Ozmon, Rodin, Novak & Kohen Ltd.
