Chicago parents are suing after their child was pushed and injured.
Timothy Yasunaga and Erikka Wang, as parents and next friends of their minor child, filed a lawsuit Jan. 7 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Richard Crane, as parent, guardian and next friend of his minor child, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Yusuanaga and Wang's child sustained serious injuries on Aug. 17 when Crane's child intentionally and violently pushed their kid to the ground while walking on the sidewalk near 929 S. Bell Ave. in Chicago.
The plaintiffs contend Crane's child acted negligently, failed to take proper precautions while walking down the sidewalk and failed to conduct himself in a reasonable and prudent manner.
They are seeking an undisclosed amount in damages and are being represented in the case by Ryan E. Yagoda of Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz.
