Trip and fall incident in parking garage results in lawsuit

A Mount Prospect resident is suing, claiming she sustained serious injuries when she tripped in a parking garage.

Maxine Lustig filed a lawsuit Dec. 4 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Hamilton Partners Inc., Riverwalk South LLC, Vein Clinics of America Inc. and IntegraMed America Inc., citing negligence and premises liability.

According to the complaint, Lustig was in a parking garage at 2150 E. Lake Cook Road in Buffalo Grove  on Dec. 6, 2011,  when she was injured after tripping and falling over a hazardous condition on the floor.

She is accusing the defendants of being negligent and violating the Illinois Premises Liability Act.

Lustig is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by Craig L. Manchik and Lynne Plum Duffey of Craig Manchik & Associates P.C.
