A woman is suing after a motorized shopping cart machine at an area Walmart pushed a line of carts into her.
Heidi Hollis filed a lawsuit Jan. 14 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
According to the complaint, Hollis was at the West Touhy Avenue Walmart in Niles on Feb. 24, 2012, when a motorized shopping cart machine near the entrance pushed a line of shopping carts into her, causing injury.
She accuses the defendant of failing to operate the motorized shopping cart machine in a safe manner.
Hollis is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorney David Nemeroff of Nemeroff Law Offices Ltd.
