A man is suing over allegations he sustained injuries from a slippery scaffold at a construction site.
Jeffery Winchell filed a lawsuit Jan. 24 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Aux Sable Liquid Products Inc.
According to the complaint, Winchell was working for Brand Scaffolding, which was contracted by Aux Sable Liquid Plant in Channahon, on Feb. 14, 2012, when he was injured on a slippery scaffold.
He accuses the defendant of failing to correct the dangerous condition or provide a safe environment for him to work.
Winchell is seeking damages within the jurisdictional limit. He is being represented in the case by attorneys at Horwitz, Horwitz & Associates Ltd.
