Man sues property owners over trip and fall incident

A man is suing over a trip and fall incident he claims was caused by an unnatural accumulation of snow.

Edward Doolittle filed a lawsuit Jan. 9 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Edith Deida-Ruiz, Veronica Navarro, Edith Navarro and Anibal Navarro, citing negligence.

According to the complaint, the defendants owned, managed and controlled a property at 4926 W. Barry Ave., in Chicago. Doolittle claims he was injured at the defendants' property on Jan. 20, 2012 when he tripped and fell over an unnatural accumulation of snow outside a parking garage.

Doolittle is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 and is being represented in the case by attorney Frank S. Cservenyak Jr.
