Bobbie Franklin is suing Advocate Medical Group over allegations she fell while undergoing a mammogram.

In her complaint filed on Dec. 4 in the Cook County Circuit Court, Franklin claims she was at the Advocate Hospital located at 9831 S. Western Ave. in Chicago in December 2011 when she fell to the ground while getting a mammogram.

She claims Advocate was negligent in failing to properly assess her risk of falling and allowing her to sit during the procedure.

Franklin is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented by attorney Robert J. Rooth.
