A woman is suing over a slip and fall incident that took place last year.
Lorraine Burns filed a lawsuit Feb. 6 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Arlington Heights Internal Medicine S.C. and Rooney Landscape Inc., citing negligence.
The complaint states that Burns was walking on the sidewalk toward the entrance of Arlington Heights Internal Medicine on Feb. 6, 2013, when she slipped on ice, causing her to fall and sustain injuries.
The plaintiff is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by Daniel A. Klein of Kurasch & Klein Ltd.
