A nurse is suing after over claims she sustained injuries as a result of a leaky dialysis machine and a technician's negligence.
Tracey Tabb filed a lawsuit Feb. 11 in the Cook County Circuit Court against DaVita Healthcare Partners Inc., doing business as DaVita, DaVita Inc. and Kidney Care Services LLC, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Tabb was employed by Advocate Trinity Hospital on Feb. 13, 2012 when she entered a room and slipped on fluid on the floor, injuring her knee. SHe claims the fluid gathered on the floor where a DaVita Healthcare and Kidney Care employee was performing a dialysis in the room.
Tabb is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorney Kevin T. Yen.
