Worker sues company after accident leads to amputation

A laborer is suing a company over claims he lost some of his fingers in a workplace accident.

Riquino Camargo filed a lawsuit Feb. 11 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Infratrol Manufacturing Corp., citing negligence.

The lawsuit states Infratrol provided or sold and distributed a wood drying oven to Allen Lumber Co. in Momence, where Camargo was working with the machine on May 5 . He claims his injuries resulted in the amputation of fingers and numerous fractures.

Camargo is seeking damages within the jurisdictional limits of the court and is being represented by Thomas Fedick of Harman, Fedick & Markley Ltd.
