A bar patron is suing over claims he was beaten by the bouncer.
Richard F. McCall filed a lawsuit Feb. 14 in the Cook County Circuit Court against GWP Corp., doing business as George’s Place, and Thomas J. Dunbar Jr., individually and as an agent of GWP Corp., alleging negligence.
The lawsuit states McCall was in the bar on Feb. 16, 2013, when Dunbar, the bouncer, pushed, struck, kicked and hit him inside the establishment and then followed him outside, where Dunbar struck him again as he entered his car.
McCall claims he sustained serious and permanent injuries and has lost work pay because of his injuries.
He is seeking in excess of $50,000 in damages. He is being represented by James Kenney of Saunders, Condon & Kenney P.C.
