A Cook County woman is suing the owners of a dog she claims attacked her.
Chanelle Walsh filed a lawsuit on Feb. 14 in the Cook County District Court against Michael Karnatz and Barb Kalicki, citing negligence.
Walsh claims on March 18, 2012, she suffered injuries when the defendants' bull dog attacked her while she was jogging near 1181 Montrose Ave. in Chicago.
According to the complaint, Walsh didn't provoke the bull dog in any way when the dog attacked, struck down, bit and chewed on her, causing her severe injuries.
Walsh is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 and court costs. She is being represented in the case by attorneys at Rogich and Richardson Ltd.
