Abrahamson

A patron of a sports pub is suing after he fell in the bathroom.

Jacob Shaffner filed a lawsuit Feb. 11 in the Cook County Circuit Court against RBI Sluggers Inc., Michael Proskin and Clark Eddy Properties Inc., citing negligence.

The lawsuit states Shaffner was a guest at Sluggers on Feb. 18, 2012, when he walked into the restroom and fell. He claims he sustained injuries that were painful, required medical treatment and put him out of work for a period of time.

Shaffner is seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional limits of the court and is being represented by Warren Abrahamson of Sandman, Levy and Petrich.
