Landlord sued after woman is injured on premises

A Cook County woman is suing over claims she was injured on the property where she is a tenant.

Cindy Decarlo filed a lawsuit Feb. 14 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Paul Zuro, citing premises liability.

According to the complaint, on March 1, 2012, Decarlo tripped in a patched up hole near the garage of the premises owned by Zuro on Minocqua Street in Park Forest, where she was a tenant. Zuro is accused of failing to maintain a safe premises or set up proper barricades or warnings near the hole.

Decarlo is seeking damages in excess of the jurisdicitional limit. She is being represented in the case by Cuda Law Offices Ltd.
