A man is suing a Markham sports bar over claims he was attacked by a group of people in the parking lot.

Zachary Lampkin filed a lawsuit Feb. 13 in the Cook County District Court against Adriana's Banquets, doing business as Adrianna's Sports Bar, citing negligence.

Lampkin claims he was in the defendant's parking lot, at 2024 W. 163rd St. in Markham, on Sept. 7, when he was attacked by a group of unknown people. The suit alleges the defendant did not take the proper security precautions, which resulted in the attack that left Lampkin with injuries.

Lampkin is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 and is being represented in the case by John S. Eliasik of The Law Offices of John S. Eliasik in Chicago.
