A Cook County man is suing a Markham sports bar after being attacked by a group of people in the parking lot.

Zachary Lampkin filed a lawsuit Feb. 13 in the Cook County District Court against Adriana's Banquets, doing business as Adrianna's Sports Bar, citing negligence.

Lampkin claims on Sept. 7, he was in the defendant's parking lot, at 2024 W. 163rd St. in Markham, when he was attacked by a group of unknown people. The suit alleges the defendant did not take the proper security precautions considering the type of people that frequent the facility, resulting in Lampkin sustaining injuries from the attack.

Lampkin is seeking damages in excess of $50,000. He is being represented in the case by Chicago attorney John S. Eliasik of The Law Offices of John S. Eliasik.
