ConGlobal sued after crane operator dropped container on driver's hand

A man is suing over claims a crane operator dropped an industrial container on his hand.

Alberto Gutierrez filed a lawsuit Feb. 14 in the Cook County Circuit Court against ConGlobal Industries Inc.

According to the complaint, Gutierrez was injured on Oct. 19 when he drove a vehicle for his employer, G&D Integrated, to ConGlobal's commercial facility in Channahon.

Gutierrez claims that when ConGlobal's employees used a crane to lift an industrial container onto his vehicle, the container was carelessly dropped and fell on his hand.

He is seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional limit and is represented by attorneys Katherine A. Cardenas and Peter C. Nozicka of Lucas & Cardenas P.C. in Chicago.
