Bohica Bar & Grill sued after a man is injured on premises

A man is suing over claims he was assaulted by security personnel at a Chicago bar.

Carlos Garcia filed a lawsuit Feb. 14 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Bohica Bar and Grill Inc., Bohica Inc., and unknown security personnel, individually and as agents for the business, citing negligence and battery.

According to the complaint, Garcia was at Bohica Bar & Grill at 5518 S. Archer Ave. in Chicago on Oct. 28, 2012, when he was assaulted and battered by the defendants' security personnel.

He claims the defendants committed negligent acts, which caused his injuries.

Garcia is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by the Law Offices Of John A. Ranieri LLC.
